Nathan’s Driving School offers behind the wheel lessons in our company vehicles, both as part of our comprehensive driver’s training curriculum and separately for those needing additional training.  All driving lessons are private (one student and one instructor). Classes are individually designed to meet the needs of each student, based on their experience and areas they need practice and improvement.

Students MUST have a valid Learners Permit in order to register for behind the wheel lessons.

Lessons begin and end at our facilities (Chamblee/Brookhaven, Roswell/Alpharetta, and Brunswick) or at a particular school if we are teaching a program there. Additionally, for your convenience, we also offer pick up/drop off at a location of your choosing.  (Pick up and drop off services are subject to any additional fee based on how far our instructor will have to travel.  If you would like to use our pick up/drop off services, please contact us before registering for pricing.)

We have instructors available to teach all seven days a week between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm.  All behind the wheel training is administered by appointment only; it is subject to availability and scheduled on a first come, first serve basis.  Please call 770-454-9100 to schedule. We will speak with you over the phone and confirm via email.

Our driving lessons are designed to not only teach teenagers and adults how to drive, but to also address unique individual needs. We have extensive experience in working with nervous students, senior citizens, students diagnosed with ADD, stroke victims, individuals with macular degeneration who use bioptic lenses, mentally and physically challenged students, individuals who have sustained head injuries, hearing impaired students, as well as students on the Autism spectrum. Our patient, understanding instructors always have the best interest of the student at heart.

International students of all ages have also taken lessons at Nathan's to not only learn to drive, but also to adapt their skills to Atlanta traffic. Foreign students who have moved to Atlanta from countries where driving is done on the left side of the road find it easier to adapt to driving in Atlanta safely after taking lessons from our trained professionals. We also allow a translator to ride during the lesson if needed.

We can also provide recommendations to your employer if they request knowledge of your driving abilities. If you have any additional questions, please call our Main Office at 770-454-9100 or email us at front.desk@nathansdrivingschool.net.
